Fully Gas Safe Registered heating engineers undertake all types of breakdown repairs quickly and efficiently, including fault finding and diagnostic solutions. We are accredited with Ideal, Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Viessmann, Baxi, Vokera and Nest as preferred installers in north east, offering up to 12 year warranties.

Central Heating Servicing
Annual servicing is recommended to keep your boiler in good, safe working order, and to reduce the risk of costly breakdowns. Gas Safety Checks
It is important to have all of your gas appliances checked annually by a gas safe registered engineer to ensure safe operation.

Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12)
Landlord Gas Safety Check and Certificate so you can rent out your property. Our Gas Safe Registered engineer will inspect your gas meter, pipework and appliance to help ensure remain compliant with current legislation, plus you benefit from a digital copy of your Gas Safety Certificate and receive annual reminders.

Heating Estimates
Our estimators are available Monday-Friday between 8am and 5pm. If necessary, appointments can be arranged outside of these hours, and in urgent cases even more promptly with work starting immediately. Written estimates are emailed within 48 hours of the visit and are valid for 3 months, hard copies can be posted on request. A site visit enables our estimator to scope the works, providing you with a detailed breakdown of the costs and schedule. Estimates are generally non-chargeable, but some may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, time and location of your appointment. Should you proceed with the work, any charge made for your estimate will be deducted from the final invoice.

Guarantees Workmanship
For your peace of mind, we guarantee most of our jobs against faulty workmanship for 12 months. Due to the nature of certain works or repairs, such as drain blockages and silicone, we are unable to provide the 12 month labour guarantee. This will be clearly marked on your invoice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly office team.

Materials
Materials and parts supplied by Switch Plumbing and Heating will be covered by a manufacturer guarantee or warranty. This usually guarantees replacement or repair of faulty goods within a fixed period which is usually 12 months.

Boilers
We recommend leading brands Ideal, Viessmann, Worcester and Vaillant to keep your home warm, offering exclusive warranties up to 12 years. Our team will take care of registering your warranty, providing aftercare, annual servicing and Gas Safety testing. In the event you experience problems with your boiler product within warranty our office will arrange for a repair if within the manufactures warranty.
